Max Mosley warns Formula One Teams' Association
Motorsport boss Max Mosley has issued a warning to the Formula One Teams' Association (Fota) that there is no time left for arguing about the budget proposals.
The FIA, which governs world motorsport, has said that Fota members have until 19 June to accept new rules and a budget cap or if they do not then they could be excluded from the sport next year.
Fota had written to Mosley asking for more time for discussions about the matter but he said that the date given as a deadline remains the same.
Mosley has, however, made some concessions to the teams and has said that if the teams accept the new rule changes as they stand, then there is room for them to be revised again.
Autosport magazine has said that Mosley has claimed he is happy to discuss the FIA's International Court of Appeal, and to consider removing the controversial appendix five to the Sporting Regulations for next year.
