Lewis Hamilton v Fernando Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen

lewis UK Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton's bid to become the first driver to win the Formula One title in his debut season has started at the Brazilian Grand Prix on Friday at the Interlagos track in Sao Paulo.

Lewis Hamilton, 22, will have to beat reigning champion, Fernando Alonso and Finnish driver for Ferrari, Kimi Raikkonen, and so far Lewis Hamilton leads Fernando Alonso by four points, with Kimi Raikkonen three further back.

If Lewis Hamilton wins or comes second, then he will claim the title, but after that there are a number of other possibilities.

If Fernando Alonso finishes outside the top four then he has no chance, and Kimi Raikkonen has to come in first or second place to still be in with a chance.

Lewis Hamilton says he is feeling confident despite the disappointment of the accident in China two weeks ago and he said: "I thought China would knock my confidence, but I've come out of it stronger for whatever reason."
