Lewis Hamilton's dad dazed by son's Formula One debut
British racing driver Lewis Hamilton's father has been left in a daze by his son's debut Formula One performance and result.
Lewis Hamilton, 22, came in second place in Malaysia, which made him the first driver to finish in the top three in his first two races since Peter Arundell in 1964.
"I'm frightened what's going to happen next," said Lewis Hamilton's father and he added: "It's crazy."
Lewis Hamilton is currently in third place in the drivers' standings, just four points behind McLaren team-mate Fernando Alonso and Ferrari driver from Finland, Kimi Raikkonen.
Lewis Hamilton is getting ready for the third grand prix of the season in Bahrain on Sunday and he said: "I couldn't be happier, but this is another stepping stone on the steep learning curve that I have ahead of me."
