Honda's Nick Fry says the team have a dozen offers
Nick Fry, who is in charge of Honda Racing has revealed that the company has had about a dozen offers to buy its Formula One team.
He is very optimistic about a buyer being found and pointed out that over 30 groups were originally interested in the team but this figure has been brought down to around twelve.
autosport.com quoted Fry as saying: "We are currently talking to Honda about what is the best bet for the future."
Japanese manufacturer of the racing cars, Honda, had withdrawn from Formula One in December of 2008 and said it was because of the financial crisis worldwide.
So because of this a new buyer had to be found for the racing team.
Fry, however, feels pretty sure that after all the interest shown that the team will be able to carry on and take part in the 2009 season.
