Formula One driver Robert Kubica is OK after crash
BMW Sauber Formula One racing driver Robert Kubica has passed a medical he has had after the terrible crash he was in on 10 June in the Canadian Grand Prix. Robert Kubica has been declared fit to race in the French Grand Prix on Sunday.
"I'm 100% fit," said Robert Kubica who had to miss the US Grand Prix following the 180mph crash and was replaced at Indianapolis by 19-year-old German driver Sebastian Vettel
Robert Kubica added: "I'm looking forward to this race and happy that I missed only Indianapolis."
Robert Kubica had suffered mild concussion and a sprained ankle when his car crashed into a wall in Canada and he was really lucky to escape without further injury.
Robert Kubica is feeling optimistic despite his recent injuries and added: "Although I wasn't allowed to test (at Silverstone last week), I've used the time to focus intensively on preparing for the next race."
