Formula One driver Mark Webber continues to recover

mark webberAustralian Formula One racing driver Mark Webber says he is making his recovery after suffering a broken leg a lot better than expected.

Red Bull are launching their new 2009 car in Jerez on 9 February and Webber is feeling optimistic that he will be fit enough to be a test-driver when they do.

32-year-old Webber has been using a cryogenic chamber to speed the progress of his healing.

Webber said on the Red Bull website that he is ahead of the expected schedule and that the treatment has brought "incredible" results.

Webber injured his right leg in November last year when he crashed head-on into a car while riding a bike at his own charity event in Tasmania.

Webber has been doing all he can to regain his fitness since he was injured and his efforts are paying off well.
