Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton had considered retiring
UK Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton has admitted that he considered retiring from the motorsport after he got a lot of bad press because he had been found guilty of lying to race stewards.
24-year-old Hamilton was disqualified from the Australian Grand Prix after it had been discovered that he and his McLaren team misled stewards about an incident that took place.
Because of the serious nature of this, Hamilton has been the focus of much speculation and press coverage recently and it is reported that because of how badly he felt about what had happened he had considered quitting F1.
However, he laid the blame on former McLaren sporting director Dave Ryan, who has been sacked from the team, and Hamilton has decided to carry on.
Hamilton has been inspired by all the support he has got from his fans and will carry on racing.
