Formula One driver Kimi Raikkonen satisfied with progress
Finnish Formula One racing driver Kimi Raikkonen feels he is making progress in his battle to get the best results from his Ferrari car.
Kimi Raikkonen, 27, began the year tipped as favourite for the world title after leaving McLaren, but he has had problems getting used to Ferrari's Bridgestone tyres after the Michelin ones he had used before.
Kimi Raikkonen explained: "They are very different from the tyres I used last year,
"Each time I get in the car I am learning more and more about them."
Kimi Raikkonen, who is currently fourth in the standings, believes the problems he has had are all due to the tyres and claims world champion Fernando Alonso is experiencing similar trouble after racing on Michelins at Renault before he moved to McLaren.
Kimi Raikkonen said: "Fernando, like me, is driving for a new team and using different tyres. From what I read he basically is saying similar things."
