Formula One driver Jenson Button test drives for Brawn GP
Formula One driver Jenson Button has been test driving for the new Brawn GP team, and at the end of the first of four days he was the fourth fastest.
The tests were being made in Barcelona in Spain.
Button was in fourth place behind the BMW Sauber of Nick Heidfeld, and Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen from Finland and Toyota's Jarno Trulli.
Button and Brazilian driver Rubens Barrichello will both be staying on for this season and driving the new Mercedes-powered vehicle.
Button is reported to have accepted a large drop in pay so he can remain in the team under the new name, and Ross Brawn, who bought up Honda, is aiming to make a respectable beginning to the season in Australia on 29 March.
Button's fastest lap for Honda at the Spanish Grand Prix in 2008 was 1:22.353 but this year he finished in an unofficial time of 1:21.140 in the Brawn car.
