Formula One driver Jenson Button stays with Honda

button Formula One racing driver Jenson Button intends staying with Honda although they had a disappointing start to the season.

"Jenson is still supporting Honda," said his manager Richard Goddard.

Richard Goddard added: "Clearly, the team isn't where it should be but we're not going to jump ship. We're not shopping around and I'm not talking to anyone at the moment."

Jenson Button, 27, came in sixth place in the Formula One drivers' standings last season, and Honda were fourth in the table after an impressive end to the season, in which Jenson Button made his first Grand Prix victory.

However, since then neither Jenson Button nor his Honda teammate Rubens Barrichello managed a place in the top 10 in Australia, Malaysia or Bahrain.

Jenson Button was not impressed with the Honda new RA107 car but his manager pointed out: "There is no other team that can give us a better place to be."
