Finnish driver Kimi Raikkonen wins at Australian Grand Prix
Finnish Formula One racing driver Kimi Raikkonen has won his first race with his new team Ferrari at Sunday's Australian Grand Prix.
Kimi Raikkonen, 27, led nearly all the way through and claimed his 10th Formula One win and beating world champion Fernando Alonso, who was making his debut drive for McLaren.
Kimi Raikkonen had previously driven for McLaren and had joined Ferrari as a replacement for seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher, who retired last year. Kimi Raikkonen has shown that he was the driver suitable for that job.
"It is special moment with a new team, everything is new, new to win in the first race ... to win straightaway, " Kimi Raikkonen said.
Kimi Raikkonen's victory was even more impressive considering that he drove without radio communication with the Ferrari team all the way through the race.
"My biggest problem was the radio, it stopped working just before the start," Kimi Raikkonen explained.
