Ferrari expect Kimi Raikkonen to be at his best

raikkonenFerrari are hoping that Formula One driver Kimi Raikkonen will be showing his best form this year the team's director Stefano Domenicali has said.

29-year-òld Raikkonen was the winner of the drivers' title back in 2007 but then last year after some disappointing performances he went down to third position.

The Finnish racing driver was surpassed by fellow Ferrari driver Felipe Massa from Brazil, who came runner up to Lewis Hamilton from the UK.

Domenicali said that Raikkonen was keen to get back in the car and show how good a driver he is.

And on the matter of Fernando Alonso leaving Renault for Ferrari in 2011 he didn't think this was likely because he claimed that Ferrari were satisfied with the drivers they already have.

Both Raikkonen and Massa have signed deals with Ferrari that don't expire until the end of 2010.
