FIA probe McLaren in relation to Lewis Hamilton incident
UK racing driver Lewis Hamilton's recent actions are being looked at further as are his motorsport team McLaren, who have to appear before the FIA governing body.
McLaren have been summoned to be seen by the FIA on 29 April in an investigation into a breach of the International Sporting Code.
McLaren have already been found guilty of misleading race stewards after the Australian Grand Prix, and Hamilton was disqualified from the race and lost all his points.
A statement issued by McLaren said: "McLaren acknowledge receipt of an invitation to appear at an FIA World Motor Sport Council meeting in Paris on April 29, received this (Tuesday) afternoon."
The FIA claim that McLaren knew lies were being told when race officials were told that sporting director Dave Ryan had asked Hamilton to allow Toyota driver Jarno Trulli to overtake at one point in the race.
Hamilton, who said it was the worst thing that has happened in his entire career, issued an apology.
Ryan, who worked for McLaren for 35 years and who Hamilton said told him to give misleading information, has now lost his job.
