FIA fine McLaren who may complain about Renault
Formula One racing team McLaren have indicated they may file a complaint against Renault over alleged use of technical details.
Motorsport's governing body, the FIA, had fined McLaren £50m and taken away their constructors points for being in possession of Ferrari data, but now McLaren say they may make a complaint about Renault.
FIA has stated it would be taking action if it received enough information and FIA president Max Mosley explained: "It's allegedly an employee who took some floppy disks with him,
"We haven't had the complaint or the detail we have been promised from McLaren about that, but when we get it, we will investigate."
Max Mosley also said that he had spoken to McLaren manager Ron Dennis about the problem and he added: "I said to him, 'When you have got your dossier together Ron, let's have it'."
And Renault boss Flavio Briatore says the situation is nothing to do with the ‘spygate' row between McLaren and Ferrari, which had been settled last week in Paris.
