Toyota starts 2009 in Formula One with the debut of a new car
Toyota have started the year off in Formula One with the launch of a brand new car.
The new Toyota TF109 will conform to new rules in the motorsport with various modifications.
Toyota team president John Howett is reported to have said that his team were only concerned with winning the race, and Toyota racing driver Jarno Trulli added that the team were even better prepared to do well this year.
The Toyota Motor Corporation had actually predicted an annual loss of £1.1bn in December, and it was speculated that because of this perhaps Toyota were going to follow in the footsteps of Honda by pulling out of Formula One.
Clearly this is not going to be the case as Toyota are optimistic about their campaign this year and they have launched a new car to help their chances.
