Formula One driver Kimi Raikkonen ready for Bahrain
Formula One Finnish driver Kimi Raikkonen says his Ferrari should be all ready for round three of the season in Bahrain this coming weekend.
Kimi Raikkonen finished in third place in Malaysia on Sunday after engine problems slowed him down and he said: "I felt disappointed and empty inside as I had to race in a way just to be able to finish."
But looking forward to Bahrain, he explained on his website: "We had to make compromise after compromise but we will get a new engine in Bahrain. I am very optimistic."
The third position Kimi Raikkonen took in Malaysia was behind the new McLaren duo of Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton.
However, still looking ahead with confidence, Kimi Raikkonen said:
"I always want to fight for the victory and the way I was forced to race was like playing a football game defending a goalless draw.
"But when we have our whole package working 100% we should be back to the same speed as we had in Melbourne."
