Formula One driver Jacques Villeneuve set for Le Mans
Former Formula One world champion Jacques Villeneuve is looking forward to being named on Wednesday as on the Peugeot line-up for this year's Le Mans 24 Hours race.
Jacques Villeneuve, 35, will be driving the new diesel car that Peugeot hopes will end Audi's domination of the event.
A win at Le Mans would make Jacques Villeneuve the first driver to win the Formula One title, the Indianapolis 500, Le Mans and the US-based Champ Car series.
Peugeot last won the Le Mans endurance classic in 1993, when French Formula One drivers Eric Helary and Christophe Bouchut shared the winning car with Australian Geoff Brabham.
Jacques Villeneuve's Formula One career was finished when he ended up dropped by the BMW Sauber team after last year's German Grand Prix.
However, Jacques Villeneuve won the Champ Car title and Indy 500 in 1995, and won 11 races in his first two seasons in Formula One with Williams, finishing with the world title.
