US tennis star Andy Roddick through to third round at Wimbledon
American tennis star Andy Roddick has won through to round three of Wimbledon by beating Russian player Igor Kunitsyn.
Roddick, who is number six seed, had no trouble winning the first two sets, however, Kunitsyn battled back and claimed the third.
Roddick will hopefully learn from this that he shouldn't be too confident and will have to make sure he is at his best for his forthcoming games.
Roddick has been the runner-up winner at Wimbledon twice in the past and he was nevertheless in impressive form for most of his performance against his Russian opponent.
Roddick claimed his victory against Kunitsyn with a 6-4 6-2 4-6 6-2 score.
Roddick now goes ahead to play against Austrian star Jurgen Melzer, who has qualified for the third round too with a 7-6 (8-6) 6-3 7-6 (7-1) victory against Benjamin Becker from Germany.
