UK tennis star Andy Murray to play Robert Kendrick
Scottish tennis star and world number three Andy Murray will be playing against American Robert Kendrick, who is world number 76, in the first round at Wimbledon.
Spain's Rafael Nadal could be a future opponent in the semi-final.
Murray already has a 3-0 record from past games against Kendrick and he defeated the US star with a 6-0 6-0 result when they played against each other on the grass court in Newport, USA, three years back.
Nadal is currently unconfirmed for the event due to a knee injury and is reported to be announcing on Friday if he is fit enough to be able to take part in the contest.
If Nadal has to withdraw from Wimbledon then it will mean that Murray will be the highest seed in his half of the draw.
Besides Kendrick and according to the seedings, Murray is likely to be facing Ernests Gulbis, Viktor Troicki, Marat Safin and Gilles Simon, before he takes on Nadal in the semi-finals and Roger Federer in the final.
