Tennis stars Andy and Jamie Murray confirmed for Beijing
Scottish tennis stars Andy and Jamie Murray have been announced as representing the UK at the Olympic Games in Beijing later on in August.
British number one Andy will take part in the 64-man singles event, and then go on to join his brother Jamie in the 32-team doubles competition.
The tennis section of the Beijing Olympic Games is being held from 10-17 August.
BOA chef de mission Simon Clegg said he was delighted to hear that the two brothers had been chosen and their mother, Judy Murray said her sons were thrilled by having a chance of playing at the Olympic Games.
Andy and Jamie Murray, who were last a partnership at the BNP Paribas Masters in Paris in October 2007, will fit in practice for the Olympics during the North American hard court season, which has just started.
