Tennis star Tim Henman hopes to be back soon

tim henman Tennis starTim Henman hopes to make a comeback sooner than expected after a scan showed he does not have a serious knee injury.

Tim Henman suffered the injury during when Poland's Stanislas Wawrinka in Basle defeated him last week.

Tim Henman told his official website: "The results of the scan on my right knee have revealed no serious problems.

"There's some inflammation of my hamstring and knee but I'm hoping it will heal with rest."

The defeat marked the end of Tim Henman's current season but he said the injury had come at a time when he could afford to be away.

"If there's such a thing as a good time to be injured I guess it's now at the end of the season when I'd be having some time off anyway," Tim Henman said, and he added:"Having said that, though, I'm keen for it to clear up as soon as possible so I can make the most of the off-season ahead of next year."
