Tennis star Tim Henman faces Jo-Wilfried Tsonga
Tennis star Tim Henman, who is soon to retire despite beating Dmitry Tursunov, will next face Jo-Wilfried Tsonga at the US Open on Friday.
Tim Henman, 32, will play against French tennis player Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, 22, in the Louis Armstrong Stadium from around 1900 BST.
Tim Henman said: "I don't think he's too dissimilar from Tursunov," and he added: "He's a great athlete, serves big, hits the ball aggressively. But I think I'll have a good chance."
Jo-Wilfried Tsonga is enjoying the best season of his career and is ranked 74th but Tim Henman, by has suffered a terrible season and his win against Dmitry Tursunov was only his sixth of the year.
But Tim Henman's back problem, which was a big part of the reason he decided to retire, now seems to have settled down.
Tim Henman said: " I felt great on the court. And I think it will be fine.
"Once you start playing back to back, the work load increases, it can get sore. But I think I should be all right."
