Tennis star Novak Djokovic beats Lleyton Hewitt
Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic has defeated American Lleyton Hewitt with a 7-5 6-3 6-3 win in their fourth-round game in Melbourne.
Novak Djokovic, 20, had to battle in the first set but he took command over the second.
Lleyton Hewitt saved two match points when he broke Novak Djokovic, but then lost his own serve and his opponent won the match.
Novak Djokovic, 20, now goes forward to play against Spaniard David Ferrer in the quarter-finals after the latter player had beaten his compatriot Juan Carlos Ferrero.
Novak Djokovic said proudly: "It has been an amazing tournament for me so far. I was very nervous before this match because I know that Lleyton is a fighter, but there was a lot of pressure on him.
"The first set was luck and afterwards I relaxed and tried to be aggressive and take control of the match which I did."
