Tennis star Jamie Murray splits with Eric Butorac

jamie British tennis star Jamie Murray, brother of Andy, has decided to split up his doubles partnership with American player Eric Butorac after the US Open.

Jamie Murray and Eric Butorac, who have been nicknamed Booty and Stretch, are currently ranked 13th in the ATP doubles race.

However, a statement on their website announced: "Booty and Stretch will be no more after the US Open. We will be heading our separate ways,"

Jamie Murray and Eric Butorac have been a good team and have already won three titles so far in Memphis, Nottingham and San Jose.

Jamie Murray, 21, also claimed the Wimbledon mixed doubles title with Jelena Jankovic and he is part of the Great Britain Davis Cup team.

There had been no sign of the pair going separate ways after Jamie Murray and Eric Butorac lost in the third round at Wimbledon, and Eric Butorac had said: "We've only been playing together for four or five months. I think we're progressing quite well. "
