Tennis star Andy Murray recovers in time for US Open
Scottish tennis star Andy Murray reckons he is recovered well enough to take part in the US Open having recuperated from the wrist problem that has kept him away from the action.
Andy Murray, 20, said: "It's time to go back out on the court and start giving 100%. I feel confident that I can do that."
Andy Murray also admitted he had enlisted the advice of a sports psychologist to help with the mental side and he added: "I wouldn't say it was totally mental, but I just needed to work on that one shot and get the confidence back where I feel like I can hit it 100% again."
Andy Murray's problem began when he injured his right wrist tendon in May at the Hamburg Masters and then after making a return to tennis he went on to lose two of three matches.
Andy Murray feels he is now ready though to play again and explained: "I feel much better now than I did 10 days ago. I've got confidence back in my shot. I've played really well in practice, hitting the ball much harder. "
