Tennis star Andy Murray puts together new support team
Scottish tennis star Andy Murray has started putting together a new support team to help ensure the success of his next career moves in the sport.
Andy Murray, 20, had recently decided to part company with American coach Brad Gilbert.
Andy Murray is reported to have told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: "A few people will only travel with me a few weeks at a time and that will keep it fresh."
And past Great Britain Davis Cup player Miles Maclagan has travelled to Miami to spend three weeks working with Andy Murray in Florida.
Andy Murray commented: "Miles is a good guy, I get on well with him. He hits well, he practises well and he's a mellow guy.
"I don't know him really well but I have practised a few times with him and I have seen him around at all the big tournaments.
"There's a good chance Miles will do some travelling with me next season. We will see how it goes in the States, how we get on."
LTA coach Louis Cayer, who has been working with Andy's brother Jamie Murray, together with fitness experts Matt Little and Jez Green will also be part of Andy Murray's team in America.
