Tennis star Andy Murray pulls out of Artois Championships
Scottish tennis star Andy Murray has discovered it is even more unlikely he will be fit enough for Wimbledon and he has had to withdraw from next week's Artois Championships at Queen's Club.
Andy Murray, 20, suffered a wrist injury in Hamburg in May, which also meant he had to miss the French Open.
Andy Murray explained: "My wrist is getting better every day but it's just too soon to play."
Andy Murray will carry on having treatment in his bid to have recovered sufficiently to play at Wimbledon, which begins on 25 June.
"I've been hitting balls softly and doing strengthening exercises for it, also been getting treatment every day and working out in the gym," Andy Murray said.
Andy Murray has played only two full matches since Novak Djokovic defeated him at the Miami Masters Series event in March.
