Tennis star Andy Murray has an injured back

murray Scottish tennis star Andy Murray has injured his back and had to pull out of the Monte Carlo Masters.

Andy Murray, 19, sustained the injury in a doubles match alongside his elder brother Jamie Murray.

Andy Murray said: "It's better than it was on Monday, but I still find it hard to walk - it's a little bit frustrating."

Andy Murray had been due to play against French tennis player Marc Giquel in the second round of the singles event on Tuesday.

Andy and Jamie Murray had already lost a first-set tie-break against Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski from Poland before Andy was forced to withdraw.

"I hit a shot and my back went into spasms and got worse and worse after every game."
