Tennis star Andy Murray beaten by Mario Ancic

andy Mario Ancic beat Scottish tennis star Andy Murray in the second round at the Open Sabadell Atlantico in Barcelona with a 6-4 6-4 score.

The 20-year-old British number one took a late wild card for the Spanish contest where he was hoping to improve his clay-court ability ahead of the Grand Slam in May.

But although Andy Murray fought back from being 0-3 down in the first set, he was soon to lose out again, and in the second set he wasted three break points before Mario Ancic wrapped up the game.

This defeat was Murray's second loss to Ancic in a very short space of time having already been beaten by him in Miami last month.

The Scottish star afterwards admitted that he knew in part why he lost and he said: "I didn't get that fired up for the match."
