Tennis star Andy Murray's US Open campaign delayed by rain
Tennis star Andy Murray's US Open campaign was delayed and will now be starting on Wednesday evening following heavy rain that saw his match against Robert Kendrick postponed on Tuesday.
On a big day for the British players in New York, Andy Murray is set to go on after the all-British battle between Tim Henman and Greg Rusedski, scheduled to start around 1930 BST.
Andy Murray is the third match on Court 11, however, there could be another delayed start, because even more showers have been forecast.
Compatriot player Josh Goodall's delayed match against Paul-Henri Mathieu will now be third on Court 14.
On Tuesday, the downpour stopped play starting until three-and-a-half hours after the scheduled time, but with nine matches in progress, the rain soon returned disrupting the day. A total of 53 matches had to be postponed.
However, Andy Murray said he was not too concerned by the rain delay.
"I have had two good days' practice and you have to relax and not think about the match too much," Andy Murray said.
