Tennis star Alex Bogdanovic defeated at Nottingham Open

alex Tennis star Alex Bogdanovic hasn't been able to continue his success at the Artois Championships because Guillermo Garcia-Lopez beat him at the Nottingham Open.

Belgrade born English tennis player Alex Bogdanovic, 23, was behind his opponent by a set overnight after rain stopped play and then went on to lose 6-4 7-6 (13-11).

Alex Bogdanovic, who just last week nearly beat Andy Roddick said: "Today I played a lot better, the weather was a lot better but it was slow out there.

"I felt like I could have done better in the tie-break when I had all these chances, it was disappointing not to at least have won the second set.

"I didn't play a bad match. I felt he played pretty good, it just came down to a few balls. I could have turned that match around."
