Tennis legend Pete Sampras to play at London's Albert Hall

sampras American tennis legend and former seven-time Wimbledon winner Pete Sampras is participating in the BlackRock Tour of Champions tournament at London's Royal Albert Hall in December.

All the players taking part will be former Grand Slam champions, world number ones, or Davis Cup winners.

Pete Sampras, 36, who was world number one for six years in a row, had announced his retirement from tennis in 2003, but before that he had won a total of 14 Grand Slam titles in his astonishing career.

Pete Sampras makes his return to tennis in May in the Grand Champions Brazil tournament, in Sao Paulo and it will be his first game ever in South America.

Pete Sampras said: "It's still fun for me to compete, it's still a challenge and I still want to hold that trophy up at the end."
