Swiss tennis star Roger Federer says he has another 10 years
Swiss tennis star Roger Federer has said that he has at least another 10 years of playing left in him as a warning to his rivals, and he is going to keep aiming to win more titles.
In fact, Roger Federer, 26, already has 12 Grand Slams to his name but he aims to beat Pete Sampras' record of 14.
Roger Federer said: "My goal is to play for as long as possible, hopefully until I'm 35."
Roger Federer had left the season-opening Slam at the semi-final stages last month, after being beaten by Novak Djokovic, and this has made his attempt to beat Pete Sampras' record this year much more unlikely.
However, Roger Federer still reckons he can at least draw equal with Pete Sampras' score, and he said: "I think it would be a good result for me if I tie it this year"
Earlier this week Andy Murray said he thought that Roger Federer would be winding down in the next four or five years in preparation for his retirement, but the Swiss star says he has plenty more years of success in tennis still to come.
