Serena Williams has second win since her comeback
Serena Williams made her second win since coming back to tennis after recovering from injury as she reached the quarterfinals of the Cincinnati Open.
Serena Williams, 24, earned a 6-3 6-1 victory over Bethanie Mattek , which followed up her straight sets win over Anastasia Myskina on Tuesday.
Serena Williams, who took just 63 minutes to triumph, had been away from tennis for six months with a knee injury.
"I feel like I'm moving faster but I can still get quicker," said Serena Williams.
"I feel fine, I've been doing a lot of off court work. Both players I have played so far have been really competitive and really tough.
"I'm just taking it one match at a time.
"I didn't expect super-spectacular results, but I didn't expect bad results, either. I'm not looking too far ahead," Serena Williams added.
