Serb tennis star Novak Djokovic beats Jurgen Melzer
Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic has played well on the grass court on Friday when he defeated Austria's Jurgen Melzer with a 6-1 6-4 score to move forward into the Halle semi-finals.
Djokovic had already saved five match points when he played against Florent Serra in his last game before he faced Melzer but he didn't find it hard to beat his Austrian opponent and appeared to be in control of his game throughout.
Djokovic, who is currently world number four in the tennis rankings, will next be playing against Olivier Rochus from Belgium, who has just defeated Benjamin Becker claiming a 6-7 (4-7) 6-3 6-3 victory score.
Djokovic has faced Rochus in the past but he lost on both occasions, which had taken place back in 2005. It will be interesting to see if he can do much better this time.
