Scottish tennis star Andy Murray in car crash
Scottish tennis star Andy Murray has explained that he was in a car crash on Monday as he made his way to the Paris Masters.
Andy Murray, 20, said that apart from some stiffness in his back "nothing serious" happened.
Andy Murray explained what took place in this way: "The driver just braked and somebody bumped into the back of the car. There was a pretty loud bang."
Andy Murray, who is hoping for a place in the Masters Cup, faces Jarkko Nieminen at 1000 GMT on Wednesday.
However, Andy Murray and his brother Jamie Murray are already out of the doubles, after being defeated 6-1 2-6 11-9 by Jordan Kerr and Andre Sa.
Andy Murray's title win in St Petersburg just last week means he is just three points off the final qualifying score for the Masters Cup, and now he needs to at least reach the last eight in the French tournament if he is to get a chance at the Masters Cup.
In fact, Andy Murray has to beat Tommy Haas, Tommy Robredo and James Blake for points, and all of them are ahead of him with Tommy Haas already through to the third round.
