Russian tennis star Dinara Safina to face Daniela Hantuchova
Russian tennis star Dinara Safina, who is currently world number one in the women's tennis rankings, is going to be playing against Daniela Hantuchova from Slovakia in the quarter-final of the Ordina Open.
Safina and Hantuchova will be playing against each other in Holland following Safina's victory over Yaroslava Shvedova with a 6-3 6-3 winning score.
Meanwhile, Hantuchova goes forward to the quarter-finals too because she defeated Ukrainian tennis star Kateryna Bondarenko and claimed a 2-6 6-2 6-1 victory.
In the other quarter-finals being played, Italian Francesca Schiavone will be facing Belarusian Olga Govortsova.
Elsewhere, Flavia Pennetta will be playing against Tamarine Tanasugarn and Kristina Barrois' opponent will be Yanina Wickmayer.
David Ferrer got through to the quarter-finals by claiming a 6-4 6-3 victory against Oscar Hernandez and he will next be playing against Ivan Navarro, who also comes from Spain.
