Roger Federer bounces back to take on Andy Roddick
Swiss star Roger Federer recovered his form after being defeated by Fernando Gonzalez to claim a 6-4 6-3 victory against Russian tennis player Nikolay Davydenko in his second Masters Cup group match.
Roger Federer was perhaps never at his best but he managed enough skill in his performance to take his record against Nikolay Davydenko to 11-0.
Roger Federer now goes forward to play against Andy Roddick in his final group match on Friday.
However, Andy Roddick, who had a match point against Roger Federer at last year's Masters Cup, is feeling very optimistic and he said: "There's no reason for me to be nervous against Roger. I can just go for my shots and try to knock him out."
Roger Federer is going to have to be at his best if he wants to carry on his winning run against Andy Roddick, which presently stands at an impressive 10 matches.
