Rafael Nadal beaten by Robin Soderling

rafael nadalSpanish tennis star Rafael Nadal's run of success at the French Open has come to an end now that he has been beaten by Robin Soderling from Sweden.

Nadal was defeated in the fourth-round on Sunday and this could have come as a great disappointment because the Spaniard had never lost at the tournament before. However, Nadal was very good about it all and accepted his loss.

24-year-old Soderling, who had lost in previous encounters with Nadal, won with a triumphant 6-2 6-7 (2-7) 6-4 7-6 (7-2) score.

But this time it was the Swedish player's turn to win and he gave an excellent performance in doing so.

Nevertheless, Nadal was able to accept his loss and said that he knew that one day he was bound to be defeated.

Nadal said that he thinks Roger Federer deserves to win at the French Open.
