Paul Annacone considered for Lawn Tennis Association coach
Tim Henman's coach Paul Annacone is under consideration for the job of coach at the Lawn Tennis Association, its chief executive Roger Draper said.
Roger Draper has been making a radical overhaul of the structure of British tennis and American Paul Annacone is a possibility as coach for the men's game.
"We're talking with Paul. We'd like to think he's in the running. He's certainly in the mix," said Roger Draper.
The restructuring of British tennis started when performance chief David Felgate was sacked in May.
"We set the bar extremely high in terms of credibility and quality of coaches who'd worked with Grand Slam winners and top 10 players," said Roger Draper.
"Clearly Paul falls into that category but there are a few others as well," Roger Draper added.
Paul Annacone used to coach Pete Sampras but he has been working with Tim Henman since December 2003.
