Mark Philippoussis turns to tennis coach Darren Cahill for help Tennis player Mark Philippoussis has approached Andre Agassi's former coach Darren Cahill and trainer Gil Reyes in an effort to revive his career.
Former US Open and Wimbledon finalist Mark Philippoussis, who is outside the top 100 at present, has been working with them in Andre Agassi's hometown Las Vegas and is hoping he can follow in his footsteps.
"I have no doubt that my best tennis is still ahead of me," Mark Philippoussis said and he added: "I'm 30 now, but I want to be able to come back just like Andre did."
Mark Philippoussis went on to say: "I know a lot of people will roll their eyes and say that they have heard all this before, but the most important thing is that I believe it.
"I have never done anything like the training I'm doing with Gil. I've spent a month with him and I've felt such a big difference."
"I feel blessed to have had the chance to work with Darren and Gil - they have opened their doors to me.
"They didn't need to do that, and I'm very thankful. I hope I can pay them back by winning a lot of matches."
