Judy Murray says Andy and Jamie to play as doubles in Beijing
Mother of tennis stars Andy and Jamie Murray, Judy has announced that her sons will be teaming up as a doubles partnership for the Beijing Olympics in August.
And Andy will also take part in the singles event at the Games.
Andy and Jamie last played together at BNP Paribas Masters in Paris in October 2007, and they will start practicing as a team when the North American hard court season starts later this month.
22-year-old Jamie had failed to get through to a second successive Wimbledon mixed doubles final when he and Liezel Huber were beaten by Bob Bryan and Samantha Stosur on Friday.
Jamie, who won the 2007 mixed doubles title with Serbian player Jelena Jankovic, was also defeated in the men's doubles when he and Belarussian Max Mirnyi were beaten in the third round by Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjic.
21-year-old Andy, however, reached his first ever Grand Slam singles quarter-finals after an incredible fourth-round comeback win against Richard Gasquet from France.
