In Antwerp 3 men thrown out of Diamond Games for betting
The Diamond Games in Antwerp has had three men thrown out for illegally betting on tennis contests taking place at the event.
It has been reported that the men were using wireless laptops to access gambling websites, and were betting on points before they had registered on the Internet.
An official who was involved with dealing with the men explained: "We spoke with the WTA. They had the chance to give up their computers or to leave - they left."
This incident and how it was dealt with marks some of the first cases in tennis's new anti-corruption policies to have been handled under new rules to clamp down on illegal betting.
The men who were two Germans and one Russian also had their photographs taken to make sure they cannot go back to the event.
Three Italian tennis players, Potito Starace, Alsip Di Mauro and Daniele Bracciali, have all already been given bans for betting on other players' matches.
