Former tennis star Steffi Graf needs stitches
Former World number one Steffi Graf needed three stitches after husband Andre Agassi's racket hit her in the face by accident at a charity event in Houston.
Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi had been holding hands but a follow-through with Andre Agassi's racket caught his wife right in the face and cut her lip open. Andre Agassi said: "It was an unfortunate accident, but she's okay."
Steffi Graf's cut lip was examined and stitched by a doctor who had actually paid for the honour of being able to play with the celebrity sporting couple at the US Clay Court Championships.
Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf were in Texas for an American TV reality show called 'The Big Give,' which is a production by Oprah Winfrey and her team.
Andre Agassi announced his retirement from sport last year at the US Open, after having won an impressive total of eight Grand Slams, and his wife Steffi Graf retired in 1999 having won 22 Grand Slam titles.
