David Nalbandian hits out at Monte Carlo Masters organisers
Tennis star David Nalbandian hit out at the organisers of the Monte Carlo Masters after he struggled to overcome Italian Andreas Seppi 7-5 7-5 in the second round.
The Argentinean player, a semi-finalist at the Australian Open earlier this year, wasn't happy with his early 10am start.
"It's ridiculous to play at this time," said David Nalbandian.
In the meantime, fellow countryman Guillermo Coria saved four match points and fought back from 5-1 down in the second set to win claim victory over Paul-Henri Mathieu 1-6 7-6 6-4.
Guillermo Coria, who had reached the last three finals of this event, couldn't get going in a one-sided opening set and then lost the first four games of the second set but he fought back to take the second set 8-6 in a tie-break and then edged the deciding set to claim his place in the third round.
