Chinese tennis star Li Na makes a comeback at Indian Wells
Chinese professional women's tennis player Li Na made a very impressive comeback by beating Vera Zvonareva and got through to the Pacific Life Open semi-finals in Indian Wells.
Vera Zvonareva had already defeated defending champion Maria Sharapova in the previous round.
World number 17 Li Na had been 5-1 down in the second set before she made a stunning return to form with success in six games in a row to finally claim a 6-4 7-5 win.
Li Na now goes on to play against Daniela Hantuchova, who had defeated Shahar Pe'er 6-2 5-7 7-6 (7-5).
Twelfth seed Li Na broke Vera Zvonareva twice in the first set and twice in the second set. Li Na also saved two set points at 5-5 before she made her triumphant win in just under an hour and a half.
Fifteenth seeded Vera Zvonareva it appeared wasn't doing well throughout the game and at one stage called her coach to the courtside to have a word with her.
