British tennis star Tim Henman bounces back
Britain's tennis star Tim Henman came bouncing back from his
first-round exit at the Australian Open with a clear victory over
Arnaud Clement at the Zagreb Indoors event.
Tim Henman, who was beaten by Dmitry Tursunov at the Melbourne event,
went on to defeat the former Australian Open finalist 6-3 6-2.
"Having lost in the first round in Australia, I wanted to get back on
the match court as quickly as possible, " Tim Henman stated on his
official website.
Tim Henman now faces Davide Sanguinetti or Richard Gasquet, who play on Tuesday.
Tim Henman added: "I feel like I've made great strides physically compared to where I was for much of last year."
Tim Henman admitted his latest win had given him a very welcome boost
of confidence and he insisted he is doing all he can now to reverse the
ATP rankings, which for him had been going downhill.
