Belgian tennis star Justine Henin makes a new start
Belgian tennis star Justine Henin wants to make a great new start to her new season opening with this week's Paris Open. And she has a new trimmed-down name too because after splitting from husband Pierre-Yves Hardenne, Justine has dropped the Hardenne surname and is now Justine Henin.
Former world number one, Justin Henin, 24, has not taken part in competitive tennis since defeating Amelie Mauresmo last year in Madrid at the end of the season.
Now Justine Henin wants to put the past behind her and concentrate on her career again. "I have had very painful times and today I want to speak about tennis," Justin Henin explained.
Justine Henin will be up against French tennis player Emilie Loit.
And it has not just marriage problems that have stood in the way of Justine Henin's career recently because she has also had injury and illness to contend with.
Justin Henin added: "I still feel pain in my right knee and I had to stay in bed because of gastroenteritis last week."
