Belgian tennis star Justine Henin defeats Vania King
Belgian tennis star Justine Henin started badly but recovered her form to defeat American Vania King 6-4 6-1 and get through to the Sony Ericsson Open third round.
Second seed Justine Henin, who won titles in Dubai and Doha in February, admitted she wasn't at her best in Miami when she played against Vania King, and she said: "I wasn't at my best, far from that - I need some matches."
World number one Justine Hennin added: "Conditions were tough, pretty windy and hot, and I needed a little time to get used to them. The second set was much better, but I need to improve."
Justine Henin has never gone any further than the quarter-finals in Miami, when she reached the last eight in 2003 and 2005 and she said: "I've never played very well here in the past, but the past is the past."
