Argentinean tennis star Guillermo Canas beats Roger Federer
Argentinean tennis player Guillermo Canas amazed Switzerland's Roger Federer for the second time in just two weeks when he got through to the quarterfinals of the Miami Masters and defeated Roger Federer.
Guillermo Canas ended world number one Roger Federer's winning streak of success earlier this month at Indian Wells. But then in the recent game Roger Federer looked as if he was getting his revenge when he led 3-1 in the final set, however, Guillermo Canas still managed to force a tie-break.
Guillermo Canas, 29, then went on to win 7-5 and clench a 7-6 (2-7) 2-6 7-6 (7-5) victory against Roger Federer.
Guillermo Canas is only the fifth tennis player to ever make back-to-back wins over Roger Federer.
Guillermo Canas said: "I don't know what it is the key to beat him, I fight for every point and I think for that I beat him,"
"I have luck because I played very well the two matches. For me it's like a dream. To beat the world number one two weeks in a row is amazing."
And the defeated and disappointed Roger Federer said: "I was really expecting to win, it was one of those matches I shouldn't have lost."
